Presentation Tools

Everyone needs an exceptional presentation tool in their tool kit. When checking out some presentation tools this week, I have found two that I think are really great. PreZentit is a presentation tools that is simple to use and the best part is.... if you are working on a presentation with team members you can all use this tool at the same time! That's right, you and your partner can be working on your presentation at the same time without being in the same room. I also liked Prezi due to the fact that it seems simple to me. I like the information zebra tool due to the fact that you can do so many things through the one tool. I also like the bubble menus being in the corner. I am thinking that I am going to use the Prezi for my course project. However, if you are completing your project with a partner, definitely check out the PreZentit.

  1. Jennifer,
I agree that the Prezi tool seems to be simple and easy to follow. I like it because I think that it would be easy for my students to use for their class projects.

  2. Jennifer,

There seems to be a growing consensus that Prezi is a great presentation tool. It is true that the zebra tool does offer quite a few options for accomplishing several tasks through one tool. On the other hand, Prezentit sounds like a great tool for collaborating. It is neat how each person can use the tool at the same time. It brought back memories of a project that involved our group using a wiki to write a research paper for a class. We created, edited, and worked on a research paper together through the wiki. There was no contact about this paper except through the wiki. Each of us contributed significant amount of content to the research paper. I realized the value of collaborating with others through this project.

  3. Jennifer,

It looks as if mostly everyone is leaning toward Prezi. I'll spend some time running through the tutorials in greater detail today. I'm still lacking in confidence, but if I don't give it a try, I'll never learn it.

  4. Jennifer, You seem to have had a bit of experience with some of the tools I had not heard of. I am trying out Prezi for the project as well. I found the tutorial quite simple and am looking forward to playing around once I figure out what to do.
